Bowling Bugs

In EA cricket game, there are some bowling bugs. They differ the bowlers only by their pace. We know that Warne and Murali are legends of spin. In this game they designed all the tricks to Warne what he had, but not to Murali. No one in the original game can swing the ball as the players in this game do. The bowling action for all the bowlers is same. Part-time bowlers are given same powers as that of original bowlers, only accuracy is the difference. Leg before wicket hasn’t been done well here. A bats man is given out only if he is in back foot or the bowler bowls Yorker.

Bugs in particular shots

Reverse sweep is the greatest comedy in the EA cricket. We can hit six in reverse sweep. Even in the history of original game only 3-4 players had hit a reverse sweep six, but here even a bowler can hit a reverse sweep six. A bowler can’t play even a single shot except for a reverse sweep. There is no foot work for many shots like pull shot, straight drives over mid on. A player can’t hit the ball over mid off. There is no cut shot or late cut shot. There is a great comedy that a player never get injured, instead his confidence level is decreased. There is no use of confidence level here, but it is well used in code masters’ Brain Lara’05

EA sports

I have a lot to say about EA games. They are the leading gaming developers at present. They developed FIFA, NFS, NHL, etc. They also created cricket games. But their interest in developing this game is less compared to that of other games. Cricket is one of the famous games next to football. So the cricket fans are very much disappointed. It’s their responsibility to satisfy the cricket fans. There are some other cricket developers like code masters which sounds good compared to EA games. The latest release in cricket is cric07. I’m going to write a lot about this game here. Lots of logic is missing in this game. There are also several bugs in the game. I’m going to discuss my experience here.
